Call for Artists – Creation of Statuettes for Award Ceremony of 2025 International Contest for Minority Artists

We are pleased to invite proposals from artists for the creation of four statuettes to be given to the award-winners of the Fourth Edition of the International Contest for Minority Artists. The 2025 edition of the Contest centres on the theme “Belonging, Place and Loss”. 

We are particularly looking to collaborate with one artist who:

  • self-identifies as a national, ethnic, religious, or linguistic minority; 
  • can confidently explore the Minority Artist Contest theme of « Belonging, Place and Loss » through sculptural or object-based formats;
  • is based in Switzerland, if possible. 

Project details: 

  • Number of statuettes to be created: 4
  • Budget: up to a maximum of 1300 CHF total for 4 pieces 
  • Delivery deadline: Friday 21 November 2025
  • In-person delivery location: Geneva, Switzerland
  • The artist must be able to issue invoice and receive payment through a registered entity

To apply, please send the following elements at your earliest convenience and by Wednesday 29 October 2025 at the latest:

  • A short proposal, including a few lines of biography, artistic intention in relation to the 2025 theme "Belonging, Place and Loss", and a proposed budget (400 words);
  • Images and/or links to examples of past work; 
  • Confirmation of your ability to deliver the works to Geneva in-person by Friday 21 November 2025;
  • Contact information: email and phone number.
